Animated illustration
We have created an animated illustration on Panchaasana (a part of Shaiva Aagama Kriya) for Dr. Vinnith Pullavarayar, a renowned writer, blogger, and Vedic teacher since 2009. Known for his deep exploration of Vedic and Agamic traditions, he specifically requested a detailed, explanatory, and long-format video to ensure the essence of the ritual was not missed. This video stands as the first-ever detailed explanatory presentation of the Panchāsanā ritual available online.
The video focuses on preserving the essence of the Shaiva Agama Paddhati, a sacred tradition originating from Lord Paramashiva. With many temples lacking the visual representation of such rituals today, this video serves as a vital resource to bridge that gap.
Since its launch, the video has inspired Shivachaaryas to share their temple’s Panchaasana structures on YouTube, sparking a ripple effect in reviving and documenting this timeless tradition. This positive impact motivates us to continue our efforts in safeguarding and spreading such sacred knowledge.
